Taz was born in 2006 and is a cross between a Chocolate Labrador and a Collie. Taz has a very active life and loves going to work with Claire when she is doing freelance outdoor work, especially if it's Hill Walking or Open Canoeing. Her other favourite hobbies are playing with tennis balls and swimming in rivers.

She sometimes comes along to first aid training courses where she particularly likes to help out with mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. She is also often to be seen as an assistant first aider on Events and is often a welcome distraction to casualties while we are treating minor injuries at the Event Venue.

Taz has been qualified as a Mountain Rescue Search Dog since 2009. She is currently one of only 5 qualified dogs in the SARDA South Wales team (and the only one living in Mid Wales).
